This Grant Writing Review class is designed for participants who already have prior experience with grant writing and would like a focused refresher on the full grant lifecycle.
Rather than covering grant writing from the beginning, this session reviews the three core stages of successful grant work—prospecting, proposal writing, and post-award reporting for renewal—with an emphasis on practical strategy, efficiency, and common pitfalls. It is especially well suited for returning students and busy nonprofit staff who want to strengthen their grant work without retaking a full introductory course. Participants will also have time for live questions and real-world examples.

This session is live and instructor-led, and questions are always welcome. Content may be adjusted slightly based on participant needs.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion. Course materials include a list of all the major grant databases, a preparation checklist, a glossary of terms, and samples of applications, proposals, query letters, timelines and budgets.
All sessions of this class are currently virtual. Participation is easy. All you need is a phone and an internet connection; we will do the rest.
